My new St. Petersburg watercolor set full of scrumptious colors. It’s good to always make a chart of new watercolors because they never look the same on paper as they look in the pan.
That’s a great idea, and while being for a practical reason, it is also beautiful in itself, to see all colours in a grid like that. Makes me want to look for my water colours (not sure where I put them) and do at least such a grid, if nothing else! Thanks for the inspiration!
I learned about making a grit from botanical watercolor artist and Skillshare teacher, Anne Butera. It is tremendously helpful as water color often looks different in the pans than it does on paper.
