If they could only tell us what they “think about” when they stand like this (if anything). I love the colours, and how the purple of the water on top comes back on the back of the bird.
Thank you Gunilla! I wish I had the ability to hyper-focus like these birds. They are rather solitary and get quite ‘grumpy’ if they are being disturbed, though.
A wonderful photo. The heron looks like he’s meditating under the spell of the beautiful water’s edge. Fabulous!
