Thanks, Lynn! Do you remember ‘shrimp and grits’? Well, I think I live in the shrimp and grits capital. So many restaurants here serve it. In response to one of Wildsherkin’s posts, I posted a photo of good old-fashioned bread pudding yesterday. Is your mouth getting watery yet?
Like…love. Oh, I miss southern cooking! Give me some grits! Just not the same anywhere else…beautiful photo medley.

Nicely arranged group!
Thank you so much, John! When I voted for your photography blog at Otto’s site this morning, your blog did quite well. 🙂
thanks so much.. I wasn’t aware I was “in the running”.
Photographed in this way, the colours really pop. A pleasure to view.
Thank you, Lignum Draco! Btw, did I ever tell you that my uncle used to live in Sidney up until recently, when he moved to Perth?
Does he live out here permanently, or is he moving around for work? there’s quite a contrast between Perth and Sydney.
He used to live in Sidney for decades, but moved permanently two Perth about two or three years ago.
Such a beautiful collection of shots….I love your choices of subjects and the delicious light you caught….and the edges of decay 🙂
Wow, your poetic words coupled with my photos! It gives them even more substance! Thank you so much for that, Seonaid!
