Sewing Project: iPad Mini Sleeve
My iPad Mini got a new sleeve. It’s made from an old, upcycled men’s suit, a piece of burlap embroidered with Sashiko stitches, and leftover, floral fabric scraps.
Ah, Otto, you are back from your adventures!? I hope you had some awesome experiences! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me such nice feedback! Much happiness, health, and success to you as well in 2014!
Funny that you left this comment, because, although photography is my biggest passion, I am actually really at the verge of starting a business with all of these pouches, fabric gift bags, iPad sleeves, etc. 🙂 Eventually, I want to take them to the local farmers’ market and Etsy.
Such pretty fabrics and such a creative idea! You’ve made me now wish my iPad had fancier clothes 🙂
Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind feedback!
A great idea. Can I order one?! 🙂 I wish you all the best in the new year.

That sounds great. Good luck with your new business!
Thanks, Otto!
Beautiful! My iPad Mini can only dream about such fancy clothes 😉
Thank you so much, Calee! Sounds like you poor Mini needs some new clothes. 🙂
p.s. – and do you dress in such interesting combinations of things too?
🙂 I just got started with these projects, and so far I have limited them to pouches, bags, sleeves, etc. I have not ventured out into clothing yet.
Great combination of fabrics! Oh, I think I’d be tempted to put the sleeve into another sleeve just to keep it from getting messed up!! 🙂
What nice feedback! Thank you so much, Lynn!
What a great idea! I really like it a lot.
Thanks, Jackie! It’s my prototype. I am glad that my measurements of the dimensions worked out so well. The iPad fits in just perfectly.
That’s wonderful. I love all the stuff you sew! You are very talented. 😀
Thank you, Jackie! You are too kind! 🙂
