Photographic Journal: Rainbow’s End

Ever wondered where the rainbow ends? Where the ‘pot of gold’ might be hidden? I found it above the fields along a rural highway in the Fichtelgebirge (Fichtel Mountains) near Bayreuth, Germany. Actually, it was a double-rainbow. Does that mean two pots of gold?

  1. Lovely picture, andelieya, and I think it’s very satisfying capturing the evanescent beauty of rainbows as photographic images, given their unpredictability and relative rarity :). I was fortunate enough to take such photographs on four separate days during my yearly blog last year, and one of them was a double rainbow, as in your picture here :).

andelieya values and appreciates all of your comments, critiques, thoughts, and ideas!
